There's actually a better seafood guide located at the Monterey aquarium website.But personally I'm thinking of not eating seafood ever again given how ridiculously overfished our oceans are getting. (I say this now, but I'm sure I'll be at McDonald's eating a filet-o-fish soon.)
actually i think filet o fishies are made with cod (i could be wrong) and according to your handy aquarium website, pacific cod is okay.
ok. i checked with the boy (he who knows a lot of things): filet-o-fish aren't cod, they're pollock. which is perfectly acceptable to eat. so eat away!
"Pollock?" I'd never even heard of that until now...
